HONORING RON BOOK
Chapman Partnership alongside the Miami-Dade
County Homeless Trust celebrated the unveiling of
a commemorative plaque honoring Ronald L. Book
and his 30 years of steadfast leadership in addressing
homelessness in our community.
This moment represents more than a milestone. It reflects
a bold vision, sustained collaboration, and an unwavering
commitment to dignity and long-term solutions. That
vision helped build a nationally recognized model of care
and continues to shape lives across Miami-Dade today.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to the leaders and
partners who helped pave the way, including the members
of the Dade Legislative Delegation of 1993, whose
leadership and foresight were instrumental in establishing
the framework that made this work possible. Their
courage, partnership, and belief in what was possible laid
the foundation for the work we carry forward each day.
